Hosie Joins Kaplan as Project Manager

Boston – Kaplan Construction recently announced the hiring of Madeline Hosie as project manager.
Hosie joins Kaplan with five years of experience managing large-scale, technically complex projects at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, where she advanced from project engineer to assistant project manager and ultimately project manager. Most recently, she worked on two 24 MW data center projects in Manassas, Va., serving as a key team member on QTS MAN1-DC2 and QTS MAN1- DC6, where she oversaw mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes totaling more than $ 66 million.

DEW Construction Promotes Snyder

Manchester, NH— DEW Construction has promoted Shane Snyder to superintendent from his previous role as assistant superintendent.
Snyder joined DEW just over two years ago and brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Since joining the firm, he has contributed to several notable projects, including The MAREK South in Lebanon and the Dartmouth Sailing Center in Enfield. He is currently working on the Settlers Common project in North

Snyder will oversee project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, materials procurement, and logistical planning. She will also coordinate personnel and serve as a key liaison among clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Patrick Marr Joins Marr Scaffolding

Boston – Marr Scaffolding Company announced it welcomed Patrick Marr back to the company as sales representative for the Scaffold Division and Aerial Lifts Division, supporting customers across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
A sixth-generation member of the Marr family, Patrick first joined the company in 2012 as part of the Scaffold Division’ s Installation & Dismantle team. During his time in the field, he developed hands-on experience with swing stage, mast climbers( Hydro Mobile), systems scaffolding, and other
Marr access equipment. In 2017, he transitioned into a sales role, serving as scaffold sales representative for the Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts territory. Most recently, Patrick served as operations manager for Marr Crane & Rigging, where he oversaw daily operations and supported the coordination of complex lifting and rigging projects.
In his new role, Patrick will work closely with customers across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, supporting both scaffold and aerial lift needs.
