Haynes Group Breaks Ground on New Harborside Inn
Block Island, RI— Haynes Group recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Harborside Inn on Block Island alongside local and state officials, community leaders, and project partners, marking the start of construction on the redevelopment of one of the island’ s most iconic waterfront destinations.
The 22,000sf project will replace the historic hotel lost in a 2023 fire. The
new building will honor the architectural character of the original. It will feature 32 guest rooms and ground-floor retail space.
