Altieri Supports Al’ s Angels for the Holidays

Wilton, CT – Altieri announced it continued its support of Al’ s Angels during the holidays. Altieri’ s efforts contributed to thousands of children receiving gifts over the 2025 holiday season, as 3,500 bins were filled with approximately 20,000 toys to distribute.
Altieri senior plumbing designer, Nona Rudd, has been involved with Al’ s Angels for nearly 15 years and introduced Altieri to the organization in 2018. Since then, Altieri has made the holiday toy drive an annual companywide effort, with staff donating hundreds of new toys.
“ It’ s great to work for a company that genuinely supports employees’ interests beyond the workplace. It says a lot about Altieri that the firm supports the charitable efforts of its staff and encourages colleagues to support each other’ s interests,” said Rudd.
Founded in 2004, Al’ s Angels is a nonprofit organization that provides help and support to children and families battling cancer, rare blood diseases, and financial hardship. It was founded by Al DiGuido of Connecticut after attending a charity event and hearing mothers ask for help for their children with cancer,
something he felt they should not have to do.
Along with the annual toy drive, the organization, operated by an all-volunteer team, hosts annual holiday meal bin assembly events. Al’ s Angels also receives support from the community, with local

Kristen Kaczegowicz, marketing manager at Altieri, said,“ For Altieri, supporting organizations like Al’ s Angels is an extension of the firm’ s values – strengthening the communities it serves by coming together with compassion, generosity, and a shared sense of responsibility.
