South Coast Improvement Company Announces Recent Recognitions

The firm also announced that Erin Vautour, project manager at SCI, has been named a 2026 Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. The annual program recognizes Greater Boston’ s most accomplished young professionals who are driving innovation, leadership, and community impact across the region.
Representatives of SCI say Vautour has distinguished herself as a leader in occupied renovation and construction management, overseeing complex projects in senior living, affordable housing, education, and commercial environments, and that her ability to successfully deliver challenging projects while maintaining exceptional client relationships has made her an invaluable member of the SCI team and a rising leader within the construction industry.
SCI has also been named to the Boston Business Journal’ s 2026 Fast 50 list, ranking among the fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts. The firm ranked No. 48 on the list, which recognizes Massachusetts-based private

New Haven, CT – For the second consecutive year, a development designed by Kenneth Boroson Architects was designated“ Best in Class: Multifamily / Residential” at the CREW-Connecticut annual Blue Ribbon Real Estate Award ceremony.
This year’ s award was presented to Rev. Curtis Cofield II Estates in New Haven, a 56-unit development along Martin Luther King Blvd. The new Curtis
Cofield development was the vision of the West River Self Help Investment Plan and The NHP Foundation, two nonprofit organizations, who selected Boroson Architects to design the new 4.3-acre neighborhood. The community includes townhouses whose designs blend with architectural styles present throughout New Haven, and on-site supportive services, a meeting center, and a planned cafe.
Units are sited in a“ U” shape around a playground and gazebo overlooking the International Peace Garden along Ella Grasso Blvd. Dwellings are Passive House certified to the Phius + CORE level. All units are classified as affordable, supportive, or workforce housing, with varying income requirements.
