South Coast Improvement Company Secures Masonry Facade Renovation
Charlestown, MA— South Coast Improvement Company( SCIC) has been awarded a contract by CSI Support & Development for masonry facade restoration at the Constitution Co-op Apartments, an affordable housing community for seniors located in Charlestown.

The Constitution Co-op Apartments project— backed by an estimated $ 3 million owner investment— will involve critical exterior masonry improvements designed to preserve the structural integrity, safety, and long- term preservation of the property, all while maintaining a safe and minimally disruptive environment for residents. SCIC will leverage its specialized expertise in occcupied renovation logistics and phasing, building envelope and masonry restoration, risk mitigation and resident-first construction practices, collaborative preconstruction and cost control, and safety-first approach around proactive risk management and strict safety protocols.
