AI-Powered Bid Tracking Platform Launched
Middletown, CT— Rich Bergan, vice president of Bergan Architectural Woodworking and active member of Connecticut Building Congress and the New England Chapter of AWI, has launched BidTransparency, a bid tracking platform that lets commercial subcontractors build and manage their bid board without any manual data entry.
The platform works by having users forward their Invitation to Bid emails to BidTransparency. AI reads the email and automatically extracts the project details— project name, general contractor, contact info, bid due date, scope— and adds it to a live bid board. It requires no typing, no copying and pasting, and no maintaining a spreadsheet.
“ Every sub I know tracks bids in some combination of Excel, sticky notes, and memory,” said Bergan.“ The problem isn’ t that people don’ t want to be organized— it’ s that nobody has time for data entry when there are jobs to run and bids to get out the door.”
Bergan developed the platform after more than 20 years in commercial construction, first as a construction manager and then running his own subcontracting shop. His involvement with AWI New England and the Connecticut Building Congress connected him with dozens of estimators dealing with the same challenge.

“ I didn’ t set out to start a software company,” Bergan said.“ I built something for my own shop because I was tired of the mess. Turns out every sub I talked to had the same problem.”
The platform also includes optional follow-up tools— automated outbound emails to general contractors or personal reminders for high-value opportunities— designed to help subs stay top of mind after submitting a bid. It works alongside existing systems like ERPs and estimating software.
BidTransparency is $ 50 per month, after a 30-day free trial, with no contracts or setup fees, and is available at https:// bidtransparency. com. www. high-profile. com
