Milestone Completes 20,000sf Buildout for The Lab at ConnCORP

Hamden, CT— Milestone Construction Services has completed The Lab at ConnCORP, a 20,000sf office buildout within a historic 1917 building in Hamden. Spanning both the garden level and third floor, the project converted an existing structure into a business incubator designed to support entrepreneurship, collaboration, and economic development.
The scope of work included selective demolition, storefront installation, carpentry and drywall, architectural finishes, and complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire alarm systems. Working within a century-old and occupied building required extensive coordination and careful sequencing to address existing conditions, maintain a safe environment for occupants, and preserve the integrity and character of the historic structure.
