Bhargava Promoted to Lead NECO

Boston, MA— Skanska has promoted Anubhav( Abu) Bhargava to executive vice president and general manager of its New England Operating Unit. In the role, Bhargava will provide overall leadership for Skanska’ s New England operations, with responsibility for strategy, performance and growth.
Bhargava brings nearly 30 years of construction industry experience, including 17 years with Skanska. He joined the company in 2008 as a project executive and operations manager in Maryland before relocating to Massachusetts in 2013, where he has held a series of leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Gaddar has led a portfolio of projects across higher education, municipal, housing, and hospitality markets. His experience includes Colby College’ s Mayflower Hill Residence Hall, as well as new public safety facilities for Augusta, Berwick, Yarmouth, Scarborough, and Wells. That work has strengthened his expertise in preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, risk management, and collaborative project delivery.
