PROCON Wins 2026 AGC of NH‘ Best in Building’ Award for Credit Union HQ
Hooksett, NH— PROCON has been honored with the 2026“ Best in Building” Award from the Associated General Contractors of New Hampshire( AGC of NH) for its work on the Lighthouse Credit Union Headquarters in Dover. The award recognizes excellence in construction, craftsmanship, and innovation across the state.
Co-developed by Tidemark and The Kane Company, and delivered with PROCON’ s integrated design-build process, the project reimagined a oncevacant, compartmentalized 4-story office building( circa 2006) as a vibrant, light-filled corporate headquarters home to Lighthouse Credit Union. The project team also included Maugel DeStefano Interior Design Architects.
To deliver the renovation efficiently, PROCON used its in-house LiDAR scanning technology at the outset of the project to generate a detailed 3D point cloud of the existing structure. The scan allowed the team to map the irregular network of existing sprinkler, heat, and condensate piping, strategically rework the infrastructure, and ultimately raise ceiling heights throughout the building. Creating the atrium required engineering a new load-bearing system— including a concealed floor-to-ceiling truss above the fourth floor— before the existing concrete slabs and structural steel could be safely removed, along with sophisticated smoke control and life-safety systems to meet atrium code requirements.
Sustainability was central to the approach. By adaptively reusing the existing structure, the team conserved materials, minimized waste, and retained the building’ s embodied carbon. A warm modern material palette— vertical GeoLam wood elements inspired by the surrounding trees, CeraClad siding, new entrance canopies, and integrated lighting— modernized the facade over the original split-faced concrete block exterior. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
“ PROCON’ s ability to bring together complex project elements while serving as a trusted partner throughout the process reflects the very best of a collaborative design-build approach,” said Chris Parker, CEO of Lighthouse Credit Union.“ From navigating technical challenges to aligning vision with practical execution, their team consistently demonstrated clear communication, proactive leadership, and a strong commitment to delivering solutions that supported our goals. Their partnership and ability to keep all stakeholders aligned were instrumental to the success of this project.”
