In his role, Shanley will lead the planning, development, and delivery of integrated project solutions for clients. His responsibilities include comprehensive reviews of drawings and specifications, scope development, and budgeting and pricing, as well as value engineering constructability analyses designed to maximize efficiency and control project costs. In this role, he will utilize his team coordination skills, working closely with owners, architects, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure projects progress on schedule and on budget.

O’ Connell brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Bowdoin. He is a seasoned project manager with experience managing projects across numerous market sectors. His first assignment at Bowdoin is to oversee the construction of the new Crane Meadow Retreat Center for Insight Meditation Society in Barre.
