Construction Inclusion Week returns Oct. 12-16, bringing the industry together for its sixth annual observance focused on expanding opportunity, developing talent and creating workplaces where people can build lasting careers. This year’ s theme,“ Opening Doors, Building a Workplace for Everyone,” highlights the link between workforce development and the culture people experience on the job, from recruiting newcomers and establishing pathways through internships, apprenticeships and mentorship to supporting the growth and retention of employees already in the field. Concord, MA – C. E. Floyd Company PBC received a Wage Equity Impact Award from the Boston Women’ s Workforce Council( BWWC) and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, recognizing Greater Boston employers for practices aimed at closing wage gaps.
Mimi Curran, HR talent and culture manager at C. E. Floyd, accepted the award. Chris Floyd, president and CEO, participated in a panel discussion titled“ Building Fair and Transparent Pay Structures.”
C. E. Floyd was an early signer of the BWWC’ s 100 % Talent Compact, an initiative focused on addressing gender and racial wage gaps in Greater Boston. The company has also worked with the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts( AGC MA) on efforts to establish compensation benchmarks within the construction industry.
Through AGC MA’ s HR Committee and board of directors, C. E. Floyd helped

The survey provides construction-specific compensation benchmarks based on role and company size. C. E. Floyd uses the annual survey data to update its compensation ranges.
