Students visit Suffolk’s Huntington Tower site

Boston — Suffolk’s Huntington Tower project team recently hosted 12 electrical students from Madison Park Technical Vocational High School, showing them the progress at this 34-story mixed-use development in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood.

The visit included a presentation about the project and construction career pathways from Project Executive Eamonn Murphy, followed by a guided site tour with Safety Manager Greg Bonica. The site tour featured conversations with four trade partners, and a chance for the students to ask questions. The students said they were excited to recognize components they had learned about in class when they viewed the electrical room. Their instructor shared that they couldn’t stop asking questions on the way back to school, saying how amazing it was to see an active construction site.

Located at 252-264 Huntington Avenue in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, the 34-story Huntington Tower is a mixed-use residential project that will span over 472,000sf and include more than 400 residential units, as well as retail space and a new entry and lobby, rehearsal and tech rooms, a separate black box theatre and a catering and bar area for the Huntington Theatre next door. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
