TBC Celebrates Graduates of Affordable Housing Developer Fellowship

Boston— The Builder Coalition( TBC) celebrated the completion of its Affordable Housing Developer Fellowship on Dec. 5, 2025 at a ceremony which brought together state leadership, industry partners, and emerging developers.
Supported by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and JPMorgan Chase, and sponsored by Synergy Investments and WinnCompanies, the six-month fellowship delivered biweekly expert-led learning sessions, hands-on mentorship, and a culminating capstone in which each firm designed and presented an original affordable housing development proposal.

Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll spoke at the event, urging the fellows to ground their work in purpose and partnership. Keynote speaker Larry Curtis, president of WinnDevelopment, joined leaders from across the region to recognize the fellows’ accomplishments and the importance of expanding the pipeline of skilled, mission-driven developers capable of addressing Massachusetts’ growing housing challenges. Worcester Mayor Joe Petty highlighted the city’ s ambitious future population growth driving a plan for 10,000 new housing units, a $ 1.2 billion investment in schools, a $ 150 million ballpark, and a revitalized airport.

Greater Boston PCA Donates $ 35K to Boston-area Charities

Boston – The Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Association( Greater Boston PCA) has donated $ 35,000 to seven area charities supporting communities throughout Greater Boston.
The Greater Boston PCA recently presented $ 5,000 checks to the Salvation Army’ s Kroc Center, a recreational center for Boston youth; Christmas in the City, which hosts a holiday party and provides support to homeless families and children in Boston; and the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, which provides health care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Boston.
Also receiving $ 5,000 donations were:
• Community Servings, a nonprofit in Jamaica Plain that provides healthy meals for families struggling with food insecurity; who struggle to have enough to eat in Eastern Massachusetts.“ The Greater Boston PCA is proud to support organizations serving the poor, homeless and most vulnerable members of our communities, especially around the holidays,” said Greater Boston PCA president, Kenneth Reagan.“ Greater Boston PCA contractors employ
