Boston Onnuri Church in Billerica Completes 20,000sf Renovation

Billerica, MA – Connolly Brothers Inc. recently completed a 20,000sf designbuild renovation project for Boston Onnuri Church, located in Billerica.
The scope of this project included demolition of existing first-floor office and light manufacturing space to accommodate construction of three sanctuaries, gathering and fellowship areas, a serving kitchen, and a new accessible entrance ramp and deck located at the rear of the building. The Connolly team worked closely with the church’ s building committee to expedite delivery of long lead items.
The project involved a change in use from office / light manufacturing to assembly space. This required the addition of two new side entrances and an accessible rear entrance ramp to meet
building code provisions for occupancy, life safety, and accessibility.

Connolly Brothers served as both architect of record and construction manager. The project team also included D & D Electrical Contractors, Inc.; DJ Plumbing and Heating Inc.; East Coast Fireproofing Co., Inc.; Hiller Fire Protection; Medford Wellington Service Company, Inc.; Northern Dynamics, LLC; and Superior Contracting Services, LLC.

Scottish Rite of Masons, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction Completes Renovation
Nashua, NH – Brookstone Builders, Inc. recently announced it has completed a renovation project for the Scottish Rite of Masons, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
The project involved interior renovations of approximately 5,000sf at 223 Main Street in Nashua. The scope of work included demolition, abatement, the installation of structural supports, a new elevator, new windows, an additional stairwell, new bathrooms, and a new HVAC unit, along with other improvements and finishes.
The space will house one of the organization’ s Children’ s Dyslexia Centers. The Scottish Rite Masons, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction has been in operation for over two decades and currently operates over 40 centers in 13 states.
“ This renovation aligned well with our teams’ experience and expertise, making it an ideal project for us,” said Karen
Scales, Brookstone Builder’ s president.“ It was also a prime opportunity to help further the good work being done by the Scottish Rite of Masons to help afflicted children and their families.”
